Bobbie Reber, Head Trainer

Bobbie is a familiar face at horse shows throughout Canada and the United States and now operates her Reber Ridge Stables at Milner Downs. She brings with her an exceptionally high level of knowledge and enthusiasm in the horse industry. She is a Certified Level III Coach and an International Hunter and Equitation Judge.

Bobbie has been coaching students for over 30 years. She has taken hundreds of students and their horses to Championship levels.

Bobbie has trained riders and horses that have gone to the Young Riders Championships, Ontario Gold Medal Team in Bromont Quebec and Silver Medal team from British Columbia.

She has trained many top hunters, ponies and jumpers in the United States and Canada including:

Knee Deep (AHSA Horse of the Year), Sutton, Farnley Soya, Zepher, Really, Steve Canyon, Jazz Prince, Nevada, Bourbon Street, Best Dressed, Ghost Story, Carradore, Limelight, E.F.Hutton, Capyrus, Bombay, Franklin T Turtle, Lexington, Cats Meow, The Mad Hatter, San Felipe, Sixteen Candles, Alios, Marlstone, Sacramento, Prince Valiant, Mundy Blues, Cupid, and many more.

She has also worked with many top riders both in Ontario and B.C. such as:

Eric Lamaze, Ashleigh Robin, Samantha Aird, Kelly Hirsch , Pamela Simmie, Riley Benson, Brooke Hanson, Muffy Guthrie, Bonnie Fraser, Jennifer O’Neill and Dee Walker.

Bobbie has also trained over 200 zone champions and riders that have won the CET Finals twice. A pony named “Farnley Soya” that had been ridden by Bobbie’s daughter and owned by Bobbie was inducted into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame beside the likes of “Big Ben” and “Just Cruisng” at its inaugural ceremony last fall.
